I was drying some towels on a clothes line in the back yard and my “favorite Prius driving lib” came up to me and told me that outside clothes lines in view of the golf course were against a city ordinance.
I told her I was combatting gore bull warming. She left in a pissy mood. Makes me proud and happy to tick them off. She is very short minded, since I used the same argument against her about two years ago.
Clotheslines in view of a golf course are verboten?
How about stray golf balls in your hanging clothes? Verboten too?
Guess you could tell her that you didn’t have a screen to put up to block all the errant balls from flying through your windows so you thought you’d try hanging towels out instead. I do like your response though. I’ll have to remember that.
