I sort of agree but didn’t want to come out and say it. There’s about a half dozen threads on World Vision. We are called also to forgive others.
Forgiveness is called for, but restoration requires a few more answers and substantial corrective action.
But that’s not the issue, really. The people in the organization who came out and publicly supported homo marriage will need to address that with God; it will be between Him and them.
We, as individuals, can choose to forgive those people while understanding there are consequences of sin which we can’t erase. Much as the pastor who commits adultery, World Vision has disqualified itself from being in its former position. They deliberately defied God’s word on sexual sin, while continuing to proclaim Christ.
We are not supposed to be tolerant of that kind of thing. Forgive personally, yes....continue to support, no.
