These idiots are in the insurance business now?
Terrified that they have finally managed to piss off even the morons that vote democrat, they continue to insult the intelligence of the simpleminded by coming up with yet another scheme, the Copper plan!
Yeah, that will save their bacon, right

It kinda makes me happy to have Medicare right now ... :-) ...
With my “Medigap” ... I have no deductibles, no copays, no additional costs or fees ... basically pay nothing for anything.

This is merely an effort to help their reelection, they don't give a rats a$$ about the people.
They single handedly created this dictate and never tried to address the problems of healthcare. They should rename the different plans as a form of manure: Horse manure, Cow manure, Pig Manure, etc., The name is different but the substance is the same.
Do you remember how CZAR Gosnell Goebbels responded to the suggestion that they try and negotiate a better solution? He said: "I WON THE ELECTION!"
Now is the opportunity to give these dictators the accountability that they have caused the people to struggle with since its inception. as with the aforementioned waste, they should be flushed from office. Oh and how have the voters enjoyed paying double for gasoline since the coup team took over in 2009?

I think they are only opposing the president because he’s BLACK, and these Democrats are simply not comfortable with a black man running the country.

“Begich and Warner have called for allowing “copper” plans on the government-run health exchanges. The new insurance plans would offer lower premiums and higher out-of-pocket costs than the “bronze,” “silver” and “gold” options currently offered. “
Yep a true government inspired solution. LOL
This is getting comical. How about a plan that doesn’t cover ANYTHING. Just send your money to the government for it so the IRS will leave you alone. It’s called a protection racket.

How about a “lead” plan? That’s where you pay everything and enter into state slavery while receive nothing in return!

Democrats constantly claim that Republicans have no health care plan of their own. We all know that's a lie. They have a plan, but the media and Dems completely ignore it.
Republicans need to put forth a bill that the media, Dems and Dem supporters just cannot ignore! Tell glowing stories of how the bill will create free health care, at no additional cost! Heck make it FREE for everyone and, while they're at it, cut taxes too! Say it won't be offered to illegals, while at the same time, telling illegals they can apply for it at no cost to them.
Using the Democrat strategy as a guideline, R's can say whatever they want (LIE), while refusing to define how they'll fund all the freebies! Then, when the new bill is passed by Congress, begin to change, delay, extend its features, till it fits their real agenda! That's fair isn't it!

Typical Democrat solutions to bad legislation: more bad legislation.
To: tobyhill; everyone
A husband and his wife used to have an insurance policy that helped cover medication, doctor visits, etc. but the insurance company canceled their policy because it was not up to the standards of obamacare thus the couple had to go on the obamacare website to sign up for obamacare. They were appalled at the cost differential, high deductibles, the lack of affordable plans for their budget verses what they once paid for insurance coverage. The obamacare insurance does not cover what their prior insurance covered (these folks are in their forties btw), the cost is higher for coverage (much higher), the deductibles are higher (much higher) and the obamacare does not cover some of the medications their prior insurance covered. This is being repeated over and over nationwide and these people had been lifelong democrat voters. The wakeup call has come in for these lifelong democrat voters and they are learning that the aca is the non-affordable care act aka obamacare. This couple is frightened and confused but realize only now their mistake in having voted democrat all those years. Yes, everyone, this is going to be fun to watch except there are real people with real lives that have been sold a law that they are finding out was a complete lie for and to everyone. Don't know if this couple will quit voting democrat but an opportunity is there to awaken a large number of people and they are being awaken to the fact that obamacare is zer0care.

Lower premiums with higher co-pays. Pay me now or pay me later. Now, that sounds like a great “fix”!
Politicians know the voters are dumb enough to vote for them if they pretend to give a damn during election years.

So Democrats are now implementing the same low quality plans they bashed for fear of losing House / Senate seats. I’m sure this naked political ploy will be decried as a naked political ploy on ABCNBCCBSCNNMSNBC etc...right? Right?

We are lucky enough to still have coverage, good coverage, under my wife’s employer’s plan.
So far this year I’ve had heart surgery, which was a necessity.
I’ve now met my deductible and have scheduled hand surgery for next month. While not crucial, it will give me back more use of my right hand.
I’ve also talked to the surgeon about another hand surgery for later in the year on the same hand, different location.
I explained I have no idea what my coverage will be like NEXT year, so I’d like to get as much done THIS year while I know what my costs will be.
He said he’s heard several patients tell the same story - pushing up surgeries into this year while they have coverage.
And, the doctors, hospitals and surgery centers are all quite happy to hear what plan I have. I wonder how low some of the reimbursements are they are facing from some lesser plans.

A “copper” plan. Let me guess, one doctor per county, 15K delectable for a low, low, price of $295.99/month.
