I agree that getting out of the car was a critical flaw; plain stupid.
What has me so cheesed is that we whites have become such easy targets within the paradigm of the (mostly) blacks.
I AM always armed, and God forbid I should ever be backed into the corner of having to act to meet fire with Firepower. If those punks knew that they are playing Russian Roulette - that someone eventually is going to drop a dozen of them - maybe they would stop? Or, are they that damn stupid???
Unfortunately young punks are stupid (otherwise they would not be young punks). When they are in a mob they are even stupider. Mobs think they hare safe in numbers.
One of these incidents is going to end with a lot of young punks dying and/or getting seriously injured ... that is sad since they are so young and so stupid, but that’s what it is going to take for the surviving stupid young punks to think ahead a little bit.
Young people have always paid a high price for brashness. It’s no different now.
How often does it happen that some white guy wastes a dozen thugs? Versus the body count of routine black-on-black shootings?
Keep in mind that they daily interact with people who are much more likely to shoot them than you are. They don't care. They know they're going to die at somebody's hand eventually, and they might as well have some fun before it happens.
