Actually they do. Levin talks about Savage. But it’s true that the thing probably would have died a natural death a long time ago if Savage hadn’t kept it alive.
“...Says anything about Savage”, in the sense that He tears them up for no good reason, to make himself look better, and meaning that’s what he does with everyone, and it’s why he cant keep a show. He is mean spirited, and cannot take dealing with anyone different form himself, cant take being wrong, cant’ deal with differing opinions, and they don’t tear him up for any other reason than to fight back a little.
If that’s feuding, then that’s what’s wrong with our country. he is a bully and they are sticking up for themselves and each other. None of them say anything bad about their competition. THis is not their acting competitively, as he is doing and in a dirty manner. It’s about standing up to a bully. In that sense, no, they don’t say anything about him nor each other.
Savage took over Hannity’s time slot. They all take Sean’s seeming demotion in stride, but they can’t and don’t have to like it. No one of them is saying anything bad about fox, WABC, the competition, nor Savage. Savage, on the other hand is bragging about doing better than Hannity in Hannity’s time slot.
Levin and Hannity are friends and there’s a loyalty, has been there for ten years or more. Levin’s been listening to this for a few days, now. If his sticking up for Hannity by bashing Savage on the air a little, is a feud, we’re too wimpy.
WHo does Savage have as a friend for ten years, and have him on his show?
Savage has a PhD. He is very funny, astute and observant. His talk is very interesting. He bashes other radio talk show hosts, calling them names, pointing out their weaknesses. No one does that. People who we know in our lives who do that are despicable.
Imus does it. He gets away with it, He’s self deprecating, he’s ready to apologize, he reads hate letters on the air and agrees and apologizes and laughs. He has loyal friends. And it’s his bit. he doesn’t do serious news, and doesn’t pretend to. Someone comes on and talks intelligently about an issue, and he says, ‘how is your wife? whe sure is snappy item’ something like that, and the guy says,
you haven’t heard what I just said’, Imus says, ‘no, I’m not paying any attention to you, you’re just babbling’.
Savage tries to do insults along with serious news and tears everyone down, has no loyalty to people or views, changing his views constantly, tearing apart good candidates, and no one else is swiping like that.
Levin has a Law degree, and serious credentials in constitutional law. He writes scholarly books. He’s self deprecating, but rarely wrong, probably never wrong. He has righteous anger.
He doesn’t swipe at anyone but people who are against what he’s trying to do, not maliciously.
