I wish FR had a “like” button:). Nicely done!
Now I have four RiteAids, two Walgreens, a “super” WalMart, a Target (w/pharmacy), a Giant Eagle (w/pharmacy) and a small locally owned pharmacy ALL less than a 10 minute drive from my house (five of those stores being under a 5 minute drive)...for years we used the Rite Aid...but husbands insurance changed this year, and ALL maintenance meds (and he is a diabetic, heart pt w/stents so he has quite a few) MUST BE FILLED in 3 months increments at CVS ONLY! There are two one 25 minutes away and one 40 minutes away (we don’t want to do mail order as he is on two types of insulin and we really don’t trust the idea of cold packs).
Other than the initial headache of getting the GP, the cardiologist, and the internists ALL to rewrite and call in scripts (and all the ensuing trips to the CVS to get all meds refilled), it has been wonderful. Our RiteAid was great, but due to in network pricing, we are saving money. The pharmacists at the CVS have been great as some of the scripts (like needles and pen sharps) didn’t “arrive” from Drs as timely as needed and they gave us partial fill (off of his original 30 day scripts). They have also ALWAYS made a point to ask if we have any questions, have any issues. I hate to admit I thought the worst w/the forced switch, but it has worked out well (even if the pharmacists all look like they are 15).
