It's a conscious decision based solely on economics, period.
It's why I don't have them. The wife and I can't afford kids and I'm not going into debt or accepting charity to do so.

Ahh, but ClearCaseGuy seems to be saying that you must have them! You must! To hell with your preferences to not be stone-cold broke all the time or to have children that your genetic background tells you will be genetically deformed. He's not content to praising those who wish to have children--and no one is saying that that is not a good thing. It just should not be a mandatory obligation...if one believes in freedom, that is. I have severe doubts about Mr. Guy's commitment to personal freedom.
