There are several problems with what you say.
Adultery which is a sin, is at least between man and woman.
Homosexuality is same sex, a disgusting act.

I understand sin is sin, however homosexuality is called out by name, for you apparently to say “well people commit adultery so what are we to do” is a bogus argument.
I say that when the church takes sexual purity more seriously then it will be able to counsel homosexuals in God’s ways. And not till then. No, heterosexual sex outside marriage does NOT constitute a figure of the marriage of Christ to the church. If anything it could be a figure of how the church still sins, playing around with the devil.
You are trying to dodge that. Yes, church this means you. Where else are homosexuals going to learn godliness?

I’m pointing you to what Christ wants! Christ wants sinners to be converted. Well in the case of homosexuals, converted to what? If “hetero any old way” is good enough then Christ did not say what Christ said.
