How about when the East Block fell and the Soviet Union dissolved, weren’t those Revolutions?

There are exceptions.
But the French, Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Cuban Revolutions led to totalitarianism and mass repressions.
That is why conservatives don’t like them and Edmund Burke wrote a famous book warning at length of its dangers.
