As aircraft and ships continued to search for debris which might be that of the missing flight MH370 on Friday a Malaysian woman on a flight across the Indian Ocean claimed to have seen an aircraft in the water near the Andaman Islands on the day the jet disappeared.
The Kuala Lumpur wife was so convinced about what she saw at 2.30pm on March 8, several hours after MH370 vanished, that she filed an official report with police that very day - a full five days before the search for the plane was expanded to the area around the Andaman Islands.

IMO, it would make much more sense for the plane to be where she says she saw it than that it would be half way to Antarctica. If they are not following up on her report, I don't understand why.
Seems odd you’d see a plane... in the water... and not say anything until now
I saw a walrus. (No I AM the walrus)
You need to reread the second sentence that was posted.
True enough. Missed that. But why did it take so long to become public?
Did you read it?
“a full five days before the search for the plane was expanded to the area around the Andaman Islands.”
This should have been headline news the day she reported it.
she reported it immediately but the stewardess told her to go to sleep. When her plane landed, she made a police report
Great point!
Well, I haven't seen the plane.
Since yesterday morning, of course.
Yeah, I get that, but why after she reported it to the police, did this not become a big story like the Maldives fisherman. I mean, doesn’t it seem pretty credible?
And she is the only person to see, or hear this mysterious aircraft? That in and of itself is a mystery.
Well, she stated she could not sleep in the plane, so she was looking out the window. She even told others on the plane she saw it, but they laughed her off and apparently didn’t look.
BTTT
“Did you read it?”
I did. She claims to have seen something “silver” and “shiny” from 35k feet. Now, the MAH370 was neither silver nor shiny. It was predominantly flat white with some grey, red, and, blue. It would not have been particularly “shiny” from any altitude or angle. She also placed the airplane in the Andaman Islands area which has now been searched at least twice by Indian authorities who have not detected anything of note in the area.
This person thought they saw something large, silvery, and, shiny floating on the ocean two weeks ago. IF she really did, it’s gone by now. Most likely she didn’t and whatever she thought she saw was in illusion.
Things to consider.
I think so
I beg to differ. Every time I’ve looked out of an airplane window on a bright, sunny day, any light colored objects just look super bright, and I could understand someone saying a white object like that plane looked “shiny”, especially against the dark blue background of 4000 foot deep seas. I actually think that is exactly how it would look.
