So no radar tracked the plane to Pakistan or Iran, no one saw the plane land. I am more convinced than ever that the plane is at the bottom of the ocean.

In October, 1980, a US merchant ship went missing on a voyage to Port Said, Egypt carrying grain. All types of theories were put forth about its disappearance. The Iranian
government even made claims that it had the ship.

The most likely cause of the disappearance: the grain shifted in a storm; the ship capsized and sank almost immediately with all hands. No distress signal was sent.
No lifeboats, life rafts luggage, bodies, nothing was ever found.
