Pakistan Airlines did lose a 767 due to a hard landing at Jeddah,Saudi Arabia. It sat for almost a year and they racked up a couple million dollars in fines. Some of the guys I worked with ended up cutting it up after they had sold off all the good stuff.
A 777 would be a good replacement and free at that.
Actually the distance from KL to Beijing is slightly longer than KL to Lahore Pk.

Gen. McInerney: US hasn’t ‘come clean’ with Flight 370 data - Lone Wolf
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9fKNHFfopc
Hmmm, so I Guess that actually bolsters the Gen’s theory, dont know if you all heard him again tonight on Hannity but he said he’s 70 percent certain the plane IS in Pakistan..he keeps on saying Lahore..or “Taliban Controlled” parts of Pakistan
Shadowing another plane to avoid radar detection is not done from behind but from directly above or below. To military ground radar, the two "stacked" aircraft appear as a single blip; to civil air traffic controllers, the blip will correspond to the transponder signal of the unwitting escort. In the process, the non-transponding ghost aircraft cruises along the regular airline route with its host, completely invisible.
My question is: If the plane flew to Pakistan HOW do you hide, dispose of, or tend to the 239 HUMAN passengers that were on board???
Mass grave?
Incapacitating the passengers is a lot easier than many would think. If the cabin is depressurized and oxygen shut off at high altitude, all of the passengers will be unconscious very quickly (while the pilots "breathe normally" from a separate oxygen supply in the sealed cockpit). And they can be quickly dead if that is desired -- and I think that is exactly what happened.
True, but what would be the point? It’s a passenger plane not a B2. Much easier to use one of their regularly scheduled flights to pull off any sneak attack.
-—You Will Not Find This Video on Fox in Any Search. It was posted on the 19th and summarily removed by Fox due to Pressure From White House.-—
Who is making this claim, that it was removed ‘due to Pressure From White House’??
That would be important information to know. But I didn’t see any such claim on the Fox site.
I don't mean to be sarcastic, VideoDoctor, but question would be how you would FIND such needles in the large haystacks throughout Chaostan? If someone got that plane on the ground undetected, I believe it was with state sponsorshiip.
Here is Thursday’s appearance on Hannity
McInenrney has been back on Fox a couple of times since making this claim - by last night his sources weren’t talking any more, and by tonight on Hannity his confidence in what he said, now based mainly on the facts that are known, was about sixty to seventy-five percent - h*ll, I don’t have any sources and I’m saying there’s about an eighty percent chance that the plane’s on the ground somewhere, maybe not Pakistan or Iran, but someplace being readied for another mission....
Here is Wed appearance on the Kelly file

Sorry previous post mistake Kelly file here
Exactly. And I saw him back on Hannity’s Show tonight. So I call BS on this claim the first video was taken down ‘due to pressure from the White House’.
And just why would Pakistan or Iran need a Boeing 777 from Malaysia, a hot one nonetheless, when they have so many other Boeings in their fleets that can be commandeered so much more readily.
Can the general explain that???
“Actually the distance from KL to Beijing is slightly longer than KL to Lahore Pk.”
Sure, but only IF the plane flew to Lahore via the shortest possible route - which is apparently not the case from the known track.
Let’s say he’s correct, why would he be fed this information? My guess is we have a bunch of Obama appointees in the CIA and DOD who do not want to make the hard decision. The adults in both agencies see this as a huge deal and are worried about a terror attack. So The General is turning up the heat and forcing these jackasses to do something.
This is only a guess as someone who sees the General as one of the best leaders the AF has had in decades and his record reflects that. He has nothing to gain from this and everything to lose by being wrong. Time will tell.
