It is important to warn our Retirees about the changes this last DOD budget did to their health care!
This is going to be a NIGHTMARE for me. I’ve already had run in’s with ES, just getting 1 name brand drug approved. Cost difference was just $7. But for me it is a MUST have drug. Synthroid. Generic does not work well and has other side effects. Not all generics are equal and they have different fillers. That said some people can take the generic and not the name brand. 2 of my Drugs are name brand, rest generic, hubby has 3 name brand 3 generic. He has few drug reactions. I REACT to most every thing. I like samples first before expending money for a script. Saves a lot of money for me. I can weed out what I will react to. Usually all I have to do is read the side effect list and I can weed the drug out.
But not being able to TRUST where, what or when they send and how they send IS NOT WORKING NOW!
ES cannot be trusted. And the Naval base is BUPERS so they don’t have much of a Dispensary for drugs or many drugs.
