You cannot legislate a right. If you want something to become a right, you have to do it the Constitutional way - by amendment.

Our rights come from God. The Constitution, and the Amendments, are there to protect us from Big Government, which invariably wants to take them from us.

No right originates in the constitution. The constitution protects us from the infringement of our God given rights.
