HMAS Success is due to arrive in the search area for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 today, joining the increasingly international effort to find the missing ship.
Australian, New Zealand and American air searches found no trace of wreckage or debris in their sweeps of the search area southern Indian Ocean yesterday, despite deploying Self Locating Data Marker Buoys in the zone.
Two aircraft from China are also expected to join the search efforts today, along with a Norwegian cargo vessel and one other merchant ship in the search area, approximately 2500 kilometres southwest of Perth.
The search will be further bolstered on Sunday by two P-3 Orions from Japan.
Five Chinese ships and the British HMS Echo are also heading towards the southern Indian Ocean to assist.

I think Inmarsat is the inflight ISP via satellite the airine use, might also linked to the ADS-B and ACARS aboard. Even if the ADS-B and ACARS were off the plane’s main Internet gateway device, like route for inflight DHCP server, might handshaked to the uplink ISP, who knows. That’s my wild guess. Maybe they’d need the NSA to figure that.
It would be nice to just have a solid lead in all this mess.

I have a friend that is a UPS Pilot but he’s out on runs now I am hoping to touch base with him tonight and get his take on all this.
The lady seemed very sure that she saw a plane "on" the water, as if it had ditched at sea. If the plane "landed" on the water without breaking up it probably would not float for long and this would account for there being no debris found on the water.
I'm sure a lot of countries are doing that now -- particularly China, Vietnam, Thailand ... re Malaysian planes.
No other country than Israel. China? Neither. China enlarged their ADIZ but they maybe just playing psywar.

My Theory: 1. It was a hijacking for the Chinese islamic group wouling with the pilot. 2. They were to fly to Sirlanka (formerly Celon) land in Tamil Tiger controlled country. 3. The passesgers got wind of it—stormed the cocpit of the plane and it went down in the Indian Oceam.
I believe that Boeing has evidence that the engines ran for an additional 7 hours.

The “new information” that Press Secretary Jay Carney referred to today was “that the plane’s engines remained running for approximately four hours after it vanished from radar,” the Washington Post quotes anonymous “Obama administration officials” as saying. The information is in line with multiple reports this afternoon. The Post reports:
One senior administration official said the data showing the plane engines running hours after contact was lost came from the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, or ACARS, a way that planes maintain contact with ground stations through radio or satellite signals. The official said Malaysian authorities shared the flight data with the administration.

Has anybody explained why there has been no ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) heard from a supposedly crashed airplane?
