“How is McConnell on amnesty for illegal aliens?
If he is anti-anmensty, then I’m pro Mitch.

(And/or vice versa.)”

He voted for immigration reform in 2006, voted to deny cloture in 2007, voted for cloture in 2013 and against the bill in 2013.

He’s for Amnesty under Bush, against Amnesty under Obama. Take your pick!!

He voted for cloture allowing the Senate democrats to pass the immigration bill but he voted no on the bill so that he could appear to be a conservative.

This is an important point to understand concerning McConnell. He gives the democrats the ball knowing what they will do and then he votes against them. An analogy would be giving a hoodlum permission to date your daughter but telling the neighbors you don’t approve of the hoodlum. It’s completely duplicitous.

Bottomline is don’t believe McConnell’s concocted conservative voting record. It’s fraudulent.
