“and on the other hand declaring a referendum of self-determination “illegal”.”

Crimea is part of Ukraine, that kangaroo election has the weight of a duck feather, a dry duck feather.

“But somewhere along the line, the roles got reversed, and now we’re the global tyrant. But like all expansionary empires”

Expansionary empire...where have we expanded too?

Of course the answer is, we haven’t expanded lol...you win “most idiotic statement award” for the night.

Obama looks to logic, reason, and morality in his confusion over why Putin did something that cannot be squared away on any rational or ethical calculators.

Come again, VDH? They don't function by logic, and reason; their morality is the whim o' the will.

“In this case, as Russia didn’t sign ANY treaty with the US either concerning Ukraine or Crimea, so they can do as they please. And the US have not a word to say about it.”

Your Soviet propaganda is lost in translation...it is established that other countries are not to annex other sovereign countries.

The entire international community recognizes this. The Russians are modeling other powerful countries like Iraq lol.

Well, it seems Ukraine hasn't the balls fighting to keep Crimea. Well, Crimea has gone home to Russia , where it belongs since 1774. Tough luck, but it's OVER, folks. Just sit back and relax. The official result of the referendum in Crimea: : 96.77% of the Crimean population has voted for the integration of the republic into the Russian Federation. The turnout was 83.1%. There were 1,233,002 votes ‘for’ integration, with the total number of those who voted standing at 1,274,096 people.

People of Crimea celebrate the reunification with Russia

LOL...an election inside Ukraine, by the Russians who replaced the long ago exiled and murdered Crimeans, lol.

That wold be like Chechnyans inside Russia, voting to leave Russia.

Absurd. But I’m impressed with your propaganda in pictures. It is far from over. And the Russian people will be the unfortunate benefactors of the sanctions and isolation by civilized Europeans.

Expect increased activity from your Russian citizens. The Chechnyans are wonderful and respectful of Russians.

You may think it is absurd. But just wait these nations to will soon feel the pains of the Ukraine, just like the Republic of Georgia. Putin will not stop till the sovereign nations are back under the reign of Putin. As long as there are Russian nationals in these states, Russia leadership will believe they have to protect their Russian citizens.

Europe and the US are to weak to stop Russia as it will expand in the years to come. The idiot US has brought modernization to Russia, western businesses have brought technology to these countries and the western lead companies will be kicked ou but not their products.

In Russian history the western ideas were adopted, but when the elite oligarchy felt threatened, they resorted to extreme measures. Forget about international law and established boundaries, Putin will not recognize them. Face it will Great Britain, France , Germany and the USA resort to war to stop Russia, no way. Each of these countries have financial problems that have reduced the countries to weaklings. Appeasement by America and Europe will just embolden Russia under Putin.

Right you are; brilliant analysis by VDH. /s

I guess that’s why Britain would have fallen, too, had it not been for Hitler’s idiocy...and the world might have been a much different place.

From the above article:

“After all, in terms of planes, ships, soldiers, nuclear strength, and economic clout, Putin must concede that he has only a fraction of the strength of what is at the disposal of the United States.”

Russia’s military is no match for the US. Putin, like most bullies, only fight when he can knock down the little girl on the block.

If the brother is around, Putin just walks by. Putin is a little man tyrant with US penis envy.

You can always count on America to do the right thing, after they have tried everything else. (Churchill)

If anyone has followed my posts, they would certainly know that I absolutely resent Russia and all of their leaders as they have never changed their spots.

For that reason alone, any intelligent person would know what is going on in Putin's mind. But over here in the US you have a large cadre of war weary people adopting a Neville Chamberlain attitude and trying boldly to defend it to the few who have what I think is a better grasp of reality.

Because of Obama, his ilk, and a sad collection of non-interventionists who were created as the result of intervention, I leave them with another Churchill quote.

When you are going through Hell, keep going!

Sadly, Putin will win this round, and the next and perhaps a third or fourth before America wakes up from it's self imposed but dangerous slumber.

It's unfortunate really, that we have a second chance to repair a mistake made at the end of WWII. George Patton was proved right, but never gets the credit.

The only reason we have this second chance is because of the breakup of the Communist Party in Russia, but over the past few years, it has been replaced by Putin who has the same ideals but is using a modified version of controlled capitalism, similar to that of communist China.

So after much creative changes, he has fooled the world (West) into thinking the motives have changed as well, but they have not.

Here is what Patton said...excerpted.

Patton said to Patterson: "Let's keep our boots polished, bayonets sharpened, and present a picture of force and strength to the Red Army. This is the only language they understand and respect."

Patterson replied, "Oh, George, you have been so close to this thing so long, you have lost sight of the big picture."

Patton rejoined: "I understand the situation. Their (the Soviet) supply system is inadequate to maintain them in a serious action such as I could put to them. They have chickens in the coop and cattle on the hoof -- that's their supply system. They could probably maintain themselves in the type of fighting I could give them for five days. After that it would make no difference how many million men they have, and if you wanted Moscow I could give it to you.

They lived on the land coming down. There is insufficient left for them to maintain themselves going back. Let's not give them time to build up their supplies. If we do, then . . . we have had a victory over the Germans and disarmed them, but we have failed in the liberation of Europe; we have lost the war!"

Patton's urgent and prophetic advice went unheeded by Patterson and the other politicians and only served to give warning about Patton's feelings to the alien conspirators behind the scenes in New York, Washington, and Moscow.

The more he saw of the Soviets, the stronger Patton's conviction grew that the proper course of action would be to stifle communism then and there, while the chance existed.

Later in May 1945 he attended several meetings and social affairs with top Red Army officers, and he evaluated them carefully. He noted in his diary on May 14: "I have never seen in any army at any time, including the German Imperial Army of 1912, as severe discipline as exists in the Russian army.

The officers, with few exceptions, give the appearance of recently civilized Mongolian bandits." And Patton's aide, General Hobart Gay, noted in his own journal for May 14: "Everything they (the Russians) did impressed one with the idea of virility and cruelty."

Nevertheless, Patton knew that the Americans could whip the Reds then -- but perhaps not later.

On May 18 he noted in his diary: "In my opinion, the American Army as it now exists could beat the Russians with the greatest of ease, because, while the Russians have good infantry, they are lacking in artillery, air, tanks, and in the knowledge of the use of the combined arms, whereas we excel in all three of these. If it should be necessary to fight the Russians, the sooner we do it the better."

Two days later he repeated his concern when he wrote his wife: "If we have to fight them, now is the time. From now on we will get weaker and they stronger."

So Hitler couldn't defeat the USSR, but Patton could?

Experts have said that Russia was motivated and could have marched to the Atlantic.

Russia was our partner in defeating Hitler. On the continent they fought 4 tough years having 26 million causualties, we fought 1 year with less than a million casualties.

Then he wanted to turn and kill more Russians and Americans. After that fiasco, no one took Patton seriously. He and MacArthur both jumped the shark.

They were never our partners...

The only help they gave us was not of their making. It was a tactical mistake by Hitler to open up two fronts.

The Russians had a nonaggression pact with Hitler. Hitler hated them so much he violated it.

Patton was not crazy. He was crazy smart and was right.

What brought him all the grief was his inability to be a politician with the press. Not his tactical brilliance or his ability to read the battlefield. He called this game exactly right and he also knew that there was a Russian front in the US mainland.

As do I...

Come, glib puppet, live a life of luxury as our surrogate--destroy the object of your twisted hate. . . .

Whilst wrapped in his muslim shroud, your father sleeps, having failed, as you will fail.

But come now, the hour grows late.
