Two Arab rioters were arrested Thursday for attempting to attack MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud Beteinu) as he visited the Temple Mount. Hundreds of rioters threw stones at Feiglin and several individuals who accompanied him. Feiglin was forced to leave the site, and police took steps to break up the riot.
As a result of the riot, the Temple Mount was closed Thursday morning to Jews and to tourists.
Feiglin has been a strong advocate of Jews asserting their rights to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism. Last month, Feiglin initiated a Knesset debate on freedom of religion and Israeli sovereignty on the Temple Mount. Although Jews are technically allowed to visit the Temple Mount, the decision on whether or not they will be admitted is generally in the hands of the Waqf, the Muslim religious trust that controls access to the site. Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount is illegal.

ITs called the Temple Mount for a reason. It’s not the Al Aqsa Mosque Mount. Nor is it like a doublemint gum commercial. Two Mounts in ONE..its the TEMPLE MOUNT.
It’s the place you go to worship and commune with GOD and Israel needs to stop cow towing to the Muslims
Freegards

No surprise here. Bearded savages act like bearded savages.
Christians, Muslims and Jews should all have free access on the Temple Mount for wherever they want to go and be allowed to pray on whatever manner they want!
No one should be allowed to interfere with that - and it should be forcefully enforced, without exception.
WAIT. Someone call the PC police. We all know it is “Youth” who do the rioting. Not muslims.
I’m confident that the actual owners will re-asserting control of the Temple Mount before the actual owner returns. He is the King of all kings.
Sure, as soon as Jews and Christians are allowed to visit al-Masjid al-Haram. Right?
You advertise yourself as converted from Southern Baptist to Buddhist and as socially liberal. OK......
In Israel, its own law is to guarantee free right of worship for Jews, Christians and Muslims. And Israel is commended by all parties, for guaranteeing such right of religious worship.
I (and others) have absolutely no intention of asking or directing Israel to VIOLATE it own laws or to change its laws to discriminate against any freedom of worship - which “WE” also have I’m the USA, in the Bill of Rights.
We COMMEND ISRAEL for being such a “shining beacon of freedom” for religious practices and worship - which can be found NOWHERE ELSE in the Middle East.
The Founding Fathers of the USA did not say to the rest of the world — “When you get your act together and you guarantee the rights in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights — then and only then — will we put these rights into effect in our country!”
NO! Not at all. They showed the world how it was to be done — and still, today, other countries don’t have these “Bill of Rights” that are still here after several hundred years.
And like I said earlier ...

No ... not according to the Bible ... there will be the Antichrist’s Temple there, which the Messiah of Israel will DESTROY when He returns. The Temple the Messiah of Israel will build after He returns is described in Ezekiel (namely “Ezekiel’s Temple”).
YES!! You bring sanity to an otherwise PC post.
That’s not what the Koran says, actually. They’d be given the reward of “jannah”, where they have rivers of wine that don’t get you drunk, and the “houris” with whom they will “recline on couches”.
Yeh, well, that shining beacon is being undermined by the Koranimals while it is being a “shining beacon”. But that is fine with you, as long as they adhere to the law!
People like you are the reason countries go down the toilet from scum like the muzzies. “We went down the toilet, but by God, were observed the rule of law!”
rivers of wine that dont get you drunk, and the houris with whom they will recline on couches.

Reminds me of a joke about hell.
Islamic hell (”jahannam”) is a real partybeing forced to wear fiery clothing that scorches the skin, drink boiling water that makes the insides burst open, and eat a hellish fruit (Adh-Dhari) from the Tree of Zaqqum, which is supposed to churn like boiling oil (or molten brass) in the stomachs of the damned. There are also snakes and scorpions down there, whose venom will torment a sinner for forty years if bitten/stung.
That’s a similar kind of complaint issued against the USA and it’s Constitutional Rights (especially the Bill of Rights). It’s been long said that there are trade offs with rights being insured for the people of a country over and against a authoritarian and police state where the government insures that everything goes the way it determines, no matter whose rights it tramples on.
Our Founding Fathers considered those inherent rights against an overarching and authoritarian government — to be more important.
You’ll find that this is an on-going argument in which there are forces that try to undo what the Founding Fathers have set up for us and as an example for the rest of the world.
Israel is a Western-style nation in which it also takes after the freedoms which are enshrined in the US Constitution (much of which came from the Bible and Israel in the first place).
I (and others) are certainly not going to urge Israel to become what her enemies ALREADY accuse Israel of — which is being an APARTHEID STATE!
Israel is NOT an Apartheid State, despite what its enemies say — and that is precisely because Israel protects the rights of all, no matter whether Christian, Jew or Muslim!
Obviously the Founding Fathers brought no sanity to our country ... LOL ...
