Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced objects possibly related to the search for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane have been found in the southern Indian Ocean.
Do you have a link to watch Sky News live?
Shep is all like “You got me up for what” LOL
Yes are something big coming out and the boy needs another diversion
They must have sent Geraldo to find the contents.
Like everybody else I just want TRUE FACTS on this mess.
Conference begins - AMSA Official and senior ADF officer.
AMSA is conducting a search in our area with assistance of RAN, RNZN, and USN.
Assessment of satellite image this morning says there is something worth looking at, but it may not be anything significant.
Debris is south of the search area, but is near it.
Further images expected - commercial satellites have been diverted for hires images.
Four aircraft involved in search 2500 SW of Perth.
RAAF Orion arrived in area about 90 minutes ago. Three aircraft (RAAF, USN, and RNZN all providing aircraft) to arrive later today.
LOL
You ain't gonna get it.
Merchant vessel also diverting and will be in area this evening. HMAS Success is on way to area and will arrive in a few days.
It is at this point a search operation. Nothing has been found yet. It is a large scale operation.
Weather is not good.
Good thing those West Village gay bars are open late.
Objects are relatively indistinct but experts say they are ‘credible’. Reasonable size and somewhat submerged.
Largest object 24m in size - this is clearly debris, but sizeable debris.
Plus I figure if Our Spooks or the Israeli’s know if it’s in Pak that as soon as exact location is know the plane will become a pile of ashes shortly thereafter.
But, But, I have a dream...
/s
Air Commodore (one star rank) McGarry of RAAF speaking now. Explaining that image is coming in progressively.
Evidence is credible enough to trigger a large search diverting a lot of resources.
Thank You again
Thank you for your reports.
why don’t they show the images?
Still sifting them
Basically it’s wait and see. They are looking. It might be something. It’s worth looking at, but the sea could be thousands of metres deep at this location. It’s not easy to search. It’s a long way away.
Aircraft currently involved take four hours to get there, and can stay on station only two hours.
AMSA is still looking for survivors - but obviously that is an unlikely scenario. It is still a search for survivors, not just a search.
impatient here!
