Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced objects possibly related to the search for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane have been found in the southern Indian Ocean.
Climbing to 45angels and depressurizing can be fatal to humans in a short time due to lack of oxygen. Wouldn't a fire be snuffed out for the same reason?
A course change was entered into the computer at an undetermined time not less than 12 minutes before last voice transmission. This is the first problem with a fire theory.
Thai radar picked up the aircraft flying in the opposite direction of it's intended flight plan, after the last voice transmission, which held no indication of any problem that would have necessitated a course change. The flight turned at least three times - once at VAMPI, again at GIVAL and again to either the southwest or northwest, which is how we have our 'arc'. That is, the plane was flying on established 'highways', not wandering about. The last "ping" indicated normal cruising altitude(and, I assume, normal cruising speed).
So the second problem with a fire theory is, we have at least three independent maneuvers, and a final altitude at 'normal'. Unless the plane arbitrarily chose its own course, it follows that somebody very much alive was actively flying that bird. imo.
Planes in Jet Hunt Fail to Find Objects Seen by Satellite
If the U.S. found it you don't think Obama wouldn't take the opportunity to grab the spotlight and say, "We solved it?"

US Navy’s P8 Poseidon aircraft returns to Australia w “nothing to report” after 10hr search over possible debris site of #MH370 @foxnews
Yup. Not buying it. There’s still plenty of crap out there floating around from the Japan tsunami. Someone, lot’s of someones, want all this to go away. It’s cost is soaring and the families are rioting.

Heres a summary of the latest developments:
Australias maritime search agency is focusing all of its resources on finding two objects picked up on satellite images that they believe could be related to the missing Malaysia Airlines plane. One of the objects is said to around 24 metres long.
Australia has despatched four search planes and two ships to the area. So far theres has been no word on the results of those searches. A US search flight in the areas found nothing. Australia has received a number of offers of assistance from other nations to assist in the search operation. The UK is sending a ship to the area.
The Malaysian authorities leading the hunt for the plane have described Australian satellite images as a credible lead. But they cautioned that they had yet to be verified citing an earlier false lead from Chinese satellite images.
Despite the apparent breakthrough in the southern Indian ocean the search in the northern corridor continues. Malaysias acting transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein said: Until we are certain that we have located MH370, search and rescue operations will continue in both corridors. He confirmed that two search aircraft have been sent as far north west as Kazakhstan.
Experts warn that the possible debris could have drifted dozens of miles since images satellite images were taken on Sunday. The search operation is being further hampered by poor visibility in the area.
The families of missing Chinese passengers have insisted that their loved ones could still be alive. The Chinese authorities have sent police and ambulances to the Beijing hotel where many of the relatives are waiting for news.
Not buying that location because the plane would have flown over 5000 miles to get to that point from the airport and what we do know of where it was from the pinging. From all reports that we know of it was fueled for the 3000 mile flight to China. The airfields in the lowest point of the Maldives were within that range including the airfield on the NE coast of Sri Lanka.
Just think of lost airline revenues if it were possible that after going through ALL the TSA inspections we are still at the whims of sleeper AQ Moslem pilots.
But as a diversion this hunt sw of Oz may just cause some Moslem rabbits elsewhere to stick their heads out of their holes.
You may be spot on!

“we all need closure on this.”
Personally, I have heard about this plane till I am sick of it. This thing has gotten more coverage then the Titanic.
Makes sense, US sub chasers aircraft has always had the best gear, they can hear a shrimp fart at 5,000 feet down. They use the latest ROV a magnetic resonance imagery, even special mini torpedo platforms, just to name a few. Anybody can speculate other bells and whistles.
Speaking of spots if you are in the northeast say New York and you try to find the exact opposite side of the world you end up roughly where this search area is. Southwest of Perth Australia. This is furthest you can be away and still be on planet earth.
The pilot of the missing Malaysian Airlines plane made a mystery phone call just minutes before flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur, it emerged last night.
Investigators are now urgently trying to work out who Capt. Zaharie Ahmad Shah spoke to in the cockpit before the plane took off on March 8.
There is a hope that the phone call could hold the answer to the plane’s mysterious disappearance.
They have refused to publicly comment on the investigation, reported The Sun.
Another search plane has found nothing in the area where the satellite images were taken.
The crew said there was limited visibility according to the Australian Maritime and Safety Authority.
