I can't believe this story is still ongoing. Well okay I'll play too!
Seems to me that if perchance this plane were stolen *and* also safely put on the ground, that that would already be a stretch as to what clever thieves could theoretically pull off.
To also have the ability, organization, and general wherewithall to hold 230+ hostages? For a couple of weeks or more? The lunatics may be crazy, but they can't possibly be that nutty. Who would have the patience for that? More likely an incinerator or mass grave would have been put to use. :(
If the plane is not at the bottom of the IO but about to reincarnate as an angel of death, I'd be wary of MAY DAY. You know how these clowns love symbolism e.g. 911, the number representing a life-or-death emergency. Happens to be this year's National Day of Prayer, not to mention the usual history/meaning of the "holiday", or the list of events on "this day in history". Most in notably 1945 and 2011.
Eh who knows, but always best to have the homework ready to turn in, just in case.

I'm sorry, but I'm not actually playing...lol. My guesses from the start have been more aligned with Retired AF Lt. General Thomas McInerney primarily because of the lack of solid, verifiable information and the misinformation described as news and even
breaking news, for example the article in the NYT just the other night which claimed, the altered waypoint was added to the planned route before the co-pilot's sign-off. Odd, because that had been previously reported, yet the NYT's article was treated as
breaking news, and now we're told that information was erroneous.
McInerney has said from day one or two, that he thinks the pilot(s) took it to Pakistan.I just don't think either of those two pilots
look suicidal.
P.S. I'll never fly on an Asian airline or let any family member fly on one either. How about y'all?
