Please understand something: Patent “holder” != Patent “owner.” Patent “holders” have their name at the top of the Patent, and that’s all they get out of it, besides recognition within the company. See the difference? Furthermore, the vast majority of Freescale patent *holders* work in the US, in Austin (corporate HQ) and Tempe, AZ. Not KLM or Tianjin.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get my butt in gear and go to my lab, which is in one of the two US locations listed above.
