A plane that big would destroy a Carrier if it could get in a certain position to pull it off, and if filled with explosives would be shot by fighters miles away and make a spectacular display, but at least the mystery would be solved once and for all.
It wouldn’t need to be filled with explosives. If it went full throttle down from 40k feet it would do the job on it’s own. Heck, fill the cabin with as much hardened steel as it could lift and it would punch a hole right through all the decks.
The chinese supposedly have a carrier killer high altitude warhead that does same thing using inertia, no explosive.
