Georgians: “fascists”

Venezuelan protesters: “fascists”

Syrian opposition: “fascists”

Ukrainian protesters: “fascists”

Lithuanians: “fascists”

See a pattern here? Anyone opposed to Putin’s foreign policy is a fascist.

Like Hitler, he’s fighting the injustices of losing the last war.

Putin is a fascist. Having spent time there and with many close friends in Georgia - they are extremely nationalistic, just to the left of fascist but not there. With a few exceptions here and there in Tbilisi.

Nothing however is as ugly as what seems to be emerging in the Ukraine as a new government. Nothing is this fascist and evil.

My friends in Georgia who were all about the new Ukraine with slogans, etc, during the riots are slowly and carefully backing away. As you can imagine they detest Putin.
They used to be major cheerleaders, and now they tell me "we hope it works out ok".
