I don't agree that anyone is glossing over anything, but we each have our own opinions.

I found sources on line that stated that the TRO was issued, and later modified by Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino, US District Court, Southern District of California. I presume you followed the link in the post by marktwain to which I referred you?

Here is one such site - I'm sure that Google can help you find others should you desire additional information.

An excerpt from the site above: "On March 14th Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino “modified” her TRO to allow the BATFE to conduct the raid pursuant to a warrant at the request of the ATF effectively nullifying her earlier TRO against the ATF in the case of Lycurgan Inc. v. Jones aka Ares Armor v. BATFE."

To be honest, it didn't take long to find this, and I'm sure you could have done the same by yourself.

Rule of law requires obedience to statutes and natural law. A statute, or for that matter an administrative order from a court, can be just as misbegotten as any malfeasance you could imagine.

Well, I did look in fact. It started out as a very local issue and didn’t go main stream until yesterday on Townhall where I found it.

I just cringe on how some people reach conclusions so rapidly, often pretty extreme conclusions at that.

I’ve no illusion that Progressivism is toxic to our Constitutional Republic and that Obama and most of his appointees really really suck or that Agencies abuse their power in the name of the Executive and ignore the Oversight

But I also know that for every little weird and grossly derogatory (percieved or otherwise) conclusion jumped to provides fodder for arguments against us and detracts from the real mainstream’s feelings about the current executive and environment.

So whenever I come across them, I try and challenge them to think critically.

I’m actually from Oceanside California. Lived there 30 years up until 2007 but I don’t know any of the players.
