GOP strategist Karl Rove is joining the growing list of pundits who believe their party will take over the Senate in November.
"Its highly likely that Republicans pick up the majority," Rove said on "Fox News Sunday."
Rove pointed out that many Democratic senators are retiring and President Barack Obama has low approval ratings in red states where Democratic incumbents are seeking re-election. He also said new GOP candidates such as Rep. Cory Gardner in Colorado and former Sen. Scott Brown in New Hampshire, offer hope.

And what will happen with Mcconnell as majority leader? The incompetence happening with him as minority leader.
Well if Rove says it’s so then we are screwed.
$c%#^ you, Rove.
STFU, Karl.
Except for you and your GOPe buds Karl. Go sit on your hands RINO...if you can find them.
No kidding. With predictions like this, then we are screwed. Furthermore, the GOP is the stupid party. The prescription for victory is to run against failed Obamacare and the bad Obama economy. The recent Jolly race is evidence of that. However, I see them doing stupid stuff such as insulting their base and running on amnesty.
Didn’t Karl Rove argue FL and OH were Romney pick ups on Election Night?
He had egg on his face after it was all over.
The GOP shouldn’t be overconfident. Obama ran them out of town in 2012.

My expectation is that McConnell will NOT be returning to the Senate in January 2015—he’ll either lose the primary (not likely) or lose the general election. And he’ll be forever etched in our memories as a despicable piece of self-centered garbage.
If people who meet Karl Rove’s specifications are going to get elected then it would be no victory at all.
Porky pig is irrelevant. FU fat boi.
Smooth sailing for Obama's last two years with Yertle the Turtle running things!
Better a RINO than a Dem.
Huh. And here I thought the GOP had about a 60-40 shot at taking back the Senate. Guess the Dems keep it now that the “genius” Rove has weighed in.
He was probably too busy counting Romney votes.
The really cool thing is that we can show the media how magnanamous we are and share the power with the democrats
If the repubs win majority, I’d bet they do “power share” again. Feckless fools.
When you believe in nothing then second fiddle is ok
