I've never been able to hit a cell tower and get a call through at 35,000 feet (or even at 20,000) when operating at speed. They must have much better phones in Malaysian than I do…

Drudge has a article on possibly Pakistan as a landing place...are there going to be ransom demands for the passengers? Or is the plane the actual target? Some of this just doesn’t make sense, unless their plan went awry and we will find the wreckage in the ocean soon.
