The problem is, you dont have a right to pull a gun on just anyone that happens to be in your home and give them orders to be obeyed at their mortal peril. There are rules as to when you have the right to do that, and when you dont.

umm you do. that is why people say if you try to get up or move your hands i will take that as a sign you are going to attack me and i will shoot you, do you understand me?
they say this not hoping the person moves, they say it to prevent them from moving and having to shoot. i don’t think you quite get it that the last thing gun owners want to do is shoot people because that’smjust the beginning of things, not the end.
