Homicide investigators are gathering evidence after a father shoots and kills a teenage boy he found in his daughter's bedroom.
A spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff's office said Deputy constables from pct 4 responded to a 911 call around 2:20 a.m. about a shooting in the Bridgestone Lake Subdivision in Northwest Harris County.

Get over it, children. The father "feared for his life".
i didn’t do that figuratively or literally. i believe you are reacting to to this on a personal level based on your above comment. you have either done this yourself, have kids who do this, or have nephews and nieces who do, and you’re regarding this as a personal attack on you or them.
why not. fixated teen boys can rape. there can be obssessed boys who stalk. he could know her, but she may not know him.
given the 9-11 call and the fact they were avingsome kind of dialogue, with the kid mouthing off/geting angry at the dad, i’d say the dad was not out of control with desire to shoot the kid. only when he moved for something quickly did the guy fire. and if someone did that in my house under the exact same circumstances’i’d have shot him too. you don’t have to wait until whatever they are reaching for is aimed at or slicing at you. the kid being an idiot and the daughter lying are the reasons that kid is dead.
and if this was an on-duty cop at this situation and the guy makes a fast move to get something while the cop has a gun on him, who’d be saying the cop over-reacted? reasonable people say it’s suicide to do this when someone has a gun on you. reasonable people say it’s a last-chance effort to get a weapon out and try to shoot or cut the guy with the gun on you. cops see this all the time and don’t wait for the guy to get a shot off at them.
and what if the guy was at home, was an ‘off-duty cop and the kid, who the guy believes was not invited in b/c daughter says no, while the guy has a gun on him, and the kid moves quickly to reach for something?
cop dad would have said he feared for his life. and nobody here would bat an eye or bitch he was out of line. well the kid as reaching for something fast and you don’t do that when someone’s pointing a gun at you. this place is full of double standards.
“He’s Coming Right For Us!”
“why not. fixated teen boys can rape. there can be obssessed boys who stalk. he could know her, but she may not know him.”
Because if an unarmed teenage rapist showed up in her room in the middle of the night, she probably would have made some noise to alert someone, or said something to her brother that came into the room, rather than hiding the “rapist” under the bed.
“given the 9-11 call and the fact they were avingsome kind of dialogue, with the kid mouthing off/geting angry at the dad”
Yeah, dialogue that was probably along the lines of “I know your daughter, she invited me in, don’t shoot me”.
If you had the right, then it would be legal.
I smell a setup...
I bet someone didn’t get a bejeweled iPhone case and conjured up a hideous revenge plan.
Sorry for all the yelling, but the obviously liberal Mr. Boogieman touched a nerve.
:-)
Yeah ... just about any father worthy of the name would do the same thing. Messin' with a man's little girl is even more dangerous than messin' with his wife.
Are you kidding me thinking anyone will discuss anything with you when you switch to a clown font?
Well, if you knew so much about rights you would know that there are more than one kind of right, but you apparently don’t realize that, so I agree, there is nothing to discuss with someone as ignorant as you.
your assumptions are not supported any more than mine are. i tend to believe the dad and that he was threatened.
