Homicide investigators are gathering evidence after a father shoots and kills a teenage boy he found in his daughter's bedroom.
A spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff's office said Deputy constables from pct 4 responded to a 911 call around 2:20 a.m. about a shooting in the Bridgestone Lake Subdivision in Northwest Harris County.

cops shoot folks for far less. do you get on those threads and bitch?
Ummm, Did you miss MY reply ?
Yeah, it says the same thing on that page too:
“While there is no close-in-age exemption to the Texas legal age of consent, it is an acceptible defense in court if the defendant is less then 3 years older then the victim and the sexual act was consentual.”
I said he might be in trouble. I don’t think he’s in trouble, only that he might be.
No please. The Casle doctrine starts at property line. This is over in Texas.
Less than what? What's surprising about you and most others on this thread is that you are swallowing the family's alibi, hook, line and sinker. They have a powerful motive to make themselves look as innocent as possible, and apparently there are no witnesses other than family.
I've personally known of cases where teenaged boys broke into, or were let into a girl's home by the girl and were then discovered. No one was shot.
There is a knee-jerk desire to make every self-defense case seem 1,000% justified. This one stinks to high heaven. But you believe whatever you choose to believe. There may never be evidence to prove or disprove anything about this one; just a family's alibi.
what i can’t believe is that you’ve already convicted the guy. i can raise the same stink about your view as you raise about anyone you’re so adamantly knowing the guy’s guilty and his story is bunk.
i tend to believe the guy’s version. you tend not to. i would guess you maybe’did the same thing as the kid, or had kids who’ve done this to react so negatively and just assume the guy is lying.
Actually, I have lived in Texas. And the Castle Docrine does not permit murder.
I said direct threat. Since when does the Castle Doctrine permit cold-blooded murder?
Well, it wasn't the right time. We had a little action going when they arrived. A guy can only protest so much, when a tall leggy beautiful blond German gal is the perp. I gave in, even though I knew her boyfriend was a martial arts expert (black belt in karate). I remained friends with him throughout high school and the subject never came up, so I assume he didn't know what the gal was doing behind his back. Sigh, high school remembrances...
Differences of little difference. No surprise if not everyone has a well-considered handle on their own notions on such an awkward topic and can articulate it well.
>>>>>Play stupid games, win stupid prizes<<<
An accurate summary.
I missed the part where he thought his daughter was a rapist. Please provide a link to this statement.
If you don’t mind that a man is under your daughter’s bed that is your business not mine.
Stating this idiot is rubbish is not dancing. If you think it is once again that is your problem not mine.
I’ll repeat it since you don’t seem to understand.
“If I am holding a gun on you uninvited in my home at 2am and you don’t follow my commands I will shoot you.”
Understand now?
There you go.. you just admitted it (and contradicted yourself) EXPRESSED CONTENT. So they don’t need permission EVERY time someone comes over. The ones you know get a pass. Perfectly logical. You should have said so the first time.
Hmmm...sending link to young daughter now.
Best personal use that I can get out of this.
Uhh... you’re guessing quite wrong. My son knows thats not going to happen. And my daughters also know no sleepover with a boy is ever going to happen. At least while they’re under my roof.
if an uninvited guy at 2am in my house is giving me grief, not obeying my commands with a gun pointed at him, and then decides to go for something and moves quickly to get “it”, he will get shot.
the daughter said she didn’t know the guy. is the dad supposed to not trust his daughter at this tense moment?
Like I said, a threatening move changes things.
But if you have a teenage daughter and you find a scared teenage guy staring at the gun you're pointing at him, it might be a good idea to let your daughter know in no uncertain terms that if she really doesn't know this guy in her bedroom (GET A CLUE), that you just might shoot him dead, since he's terrified and might do something stupid, so - one last time - ask her if she knows him, and let her know you're going to find out the truth no matter what happens.
Anyone with half a brain would start thinking these things through before they killed someone, seeing as the IDEA here would be to try to resolve the situation WITHOUT killing anyone - right?
And this was in no way murder.
