Payne Stewart Learjet syndrome.
Was there valuable cargo?
If depressurization killed them all instantly, who turned off the transponder?
With no evidence to the contrary its likely the plane has been hijacked and is at some unknown location. Or at least unknown to us. There is speculation that the Malasyian govt is secretly negotiating with terrorists.
What the heck was that 70 foot long debris in the ocean where the transponder went off after the explosion? I don’t trust anything out of the people from Borneo!!
It seems more likely the plane was hijacked to either steal the plane/people/cargo on board or take it to deep water in the Indian ocean and try to make it disappear forever.
I'd be inclined to ask Vietnam if all of their SAMs are accounted for.

The debris spotted by China could’ve sank by now. Malaysia gets there and says “nope!”.. WTF? I guess the water is shallow there and they checked under water as well?
As good a possibility as any..
STRONG possibility: Heading for the deepest water they researched beforehand. I think ‘shot down’ ranks high on the list, too.
U.S. investigators suspect that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 stayed in the air for about four hours past the time it reached its last confirmed location, according to two people familiar with the details, raising the possibility that the plane could have flown on for hundreds of additional miles under conditions that remain murky.
Aviation investigators and national security officials believe the plane flew for a total of five hours, based on data automatically downloaded and sent to the ground from the Boeing Co. 777′s engines as part of a routine maintenance and monitoring program.
…The huge uncertainty about where the plane was headed, and why it apparently continued flying so long without working transponders, has raised theories among investigators that the aircraft may have been commandeered for a reason that appears unclear to U.S. authorities. Some of those theories have been laid out to national security officials and senior personnel from various U.S. agencies, according to one person familiar with the matter.
At one briefing, according to this person, officials were told investigators are actively pursuing the notion that the plane was diverted “with the intention of using it later for another purpose.”
…The engines’ onboard monitoring system is provided by their manufacturer, Rolls-Royce PLC, and it periodically sends bursts of data about engine health, operations and aircraft movements to facilities on the ground.
Not a good possibility because the transponders were TURNED OFF.
Who turned off the transponders if they all died from sudden decompression?
I keep forgetting about that..
The 9/11 hijackers turned off the transponders.
American Airlines Flight 11
8:19 Flight attendant notifies AA of hijacking
8:21 Transponder is turned off
United Airlines Flight 175
8:42-8:46 Likely takeover
8:47 Transponder code changes
American Airlines Flight 77
8:54 Flight 77 makes unauthorized turn to south
8:56 Transponder is turned off
United Airlines Flight 93
9:36 Flight attendant notifies UA of hijacking;UA attempts to contact the cockpit
9:41 Transponder is turned off

The terrorist hijackers have already achieved their goal; rampant fear and long-term, frenzied speculation. Did the terrorists head for the deepest waters they knew of? Or land somewhere. In any case, they accomplished their goal.
Ooops, I forgot “shot down” after a few hours of ‘off course’ flight. Also possible.
I suspect the plane was hijacked and has landed somewhere in Indonesia.
I’m curious if our satellites record images automatically or do they need to be monitored.
If they need to be monitored, then it is possible that the hijackers could get the plane on the ground and camouflage it before we/the US was alerted to look for it.
