The problem is that politicians have celebrity status among some people (liberals, mostly), not as employees hired to do a job. We’ve become too much an entertainment-based society. A clown may be funny, but you don’t hire one to balance a budget or legislate their morality on you (which is more like political correctness than morality to Democrats).
