Russia could launch a 'full scale' invasion that would see troops overrun Ukraine in hours, a senior security official warned today.
The secretary of Ukraine's National Security and National Defence Committee Andriy Parubiy claimed Russia has 80,000 troops, 280 tanks and 170 aircraft massed on the border ready to invade.
'They are adding to this military potential,' he said. 'We have a critical situation on the entire southeastern border. The Russian army is only two to three hours from Kiev.'
Ukraine's defences would be incapable in the face of a Russian invasion, he said.

Breaking news (as I’m writing this post):
Clashes are underway in downtown Kharkov city (5 miles from Russia border).
Kharkov pro-Russian defenders are standing against militants, presumably from the ultra-right Right Sector (the most active and violent group on Maidan). “The visitors are shooting from assault rifles,” one Kharkov resident said.
They from the windows of a building hosting the headquarters of the Right Sector organization. Stun grenades and Molotov cocktails are being thrown from the second floor of the building; 40-50 militants are huddled inside. The police cordoned off the building, and a special operation is underway.
Two people were killed and another two injured in clashes between residents of the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkov and militants from the Right Sector (radical Ukrainian group), Kharkov mayor Gennady Kernes said Saturday.

local authorities were apparently ‘covering up the actions of Right Sector’ and trying to hide the fact that the group has a hideout with a cache of weapons in that building...
Margurite...this is the same building I’d mentioned in a past post where the police were told not to interfer..
Lots of underhandedness going on there. That’s what happens when you put the likes of those creeps in charge of Ukraine.
So the fact I knew the police were told not to interfer.....the fact it took almost 40 minutes to make the police respond to the call,...but of course the new police chief appointed by the Kiev “junta” is covering up all crimes carried out by the Right Sector in Kharkov.

Interesting reading they had a cache of arms they were attempting to hide in that building...might be why they fought so...
Some Ukranians knew the US was behind this early on and protested at the US embassasy because they learned things were being orchestrated from the US embassy in Jan. 2014
Amazing how when people finally get the truth..and see for themselves...things begin to change. Hopefully Putin will not have to do anything....if he does the US and press will indeed retaliate....they know if they loose Ukraine..no missile sites...no oil grap...no resouces...no payback to the millions they dumped into this uprising.

The photo was taken outside the US Embassy in Kiev and there is a Communist party in Ukraine, so I'm not sure how you can be so sure they're not Ukrainians.
Why not just ban all Christians?
