They are now saying, “See? If you run TEA Party candidates, they lose!” What they don’t want people to know is those candidates lost because they were sabotaged by the national Party’s election committees, not because they were “bad” candidates.
It’s like dropping a cinder block on a car from an overpass, and when the car crashes and burns, claiming it’s because they weren’t driving the car.
