NEW YORK (WABC) — Police and fire officials are responding to reports of an explosion at 116th Street and Park Avenue in Upper Manhattan Wednesday morning.
East Harlem residents reported hearing a large explosion in an apartment building around 9:30 a.m.
Fire was reported in the six-building, and the structural integrity may be compromised. Witnesses reported seeing what appeared to be at least a partial roof collapse.

Witnesses talk about and video shows large amounts of small debris all over the rail tracks, video showing firefighters pouring water onto the remains of a building between two other buildings.
Center building looks completely collapsed...

Could also be someone building a bomb I guess. One of those workplace accidents where it detonates ahead of its time. My guess is gas.
