Thanks for the clarification. We did not have a history of wholesale abortion until relatively recently.
It's kind of ironic that as we get closer to the edge of the cliff our government and our fellow citizens are trying to tame down our sporting exhibitions rather than making them even more violent in order to mimic the Roman gladiator matches.
Of course there is plenty of simulated violence on TV, in movies, and on the internet but nothing says moral decay like a real live Lion vs. Christian match.

Maybe something that has had intrinsic value for the last 5000 years. Gee, I wonder what that could be? I think the Chinese have figured that one out.

Truthfully, I do believe America is indeed in a death-spiral. Economically, culturally, and morally decaying. When I see so much of America embracing deviant crap like homo-marriage, I view it a symbol that America has given itself over to evil, and its days are numbered.
No. America was stolen from an unlocked house. Good people slept and did nothing, while the wolf came around. We allowed ourselves a fat, dumb and happy existence for too long and now, we watch as an indoctrinated generation wanders about stupidly.
It's our fault.

You're right but it is in the Congressional Record in 1968 among many other places so luckily we have Snopes:
Taylor Made (government fix ostensibly by Cicero) Regardless if nothing else its supported by plain 'ol common sense in my mind at least. ;-)
