In the terrorist mind, seeking as deep water as possible would be a high priority. Dense jungle too, but crash landing in a pin point jungle region or island would be a long shot at 2 in the morning. I would suggest a deep water region as a high probability for searching.
Landing the aircraft is possible, but the resources to pull that off undetected are slim to none.
