“Sorry to stick my big, fat nose in y’all’s conversation”

Always welcome.

“It’s not that the Constitution, our founding principles or our national ideals are eroding...they’re not. It’s that We The Sheeple have stopped believing in them, have stopped supporting and defending them, and in many cases, are embarrassed by them. All of this is happening because those of us with the means to defend America, and the knowledge and skills to teach her greatness to our countrymen, have long since stopped doing so.”

The Constitutional Rights have been chipped away at by the courts. They have been drowned in a rising see of law and regulation by unelected bureaucrats. Just try to name rights that have not been limited already. Each year brings less freedom than our Constitution set out to secure.

“We are the reason our fellow Americans have lost faith in our nation. We’ve failed them, and we’ve failed our forefathers.”

Speak for yourself here. I’ve done the work. I’ve written. I’ve called. I’ve dug deeply to give to (R) candidates to retake the Senate the last time. Wish I had the money back that they squandered. Our RINOs have subverted our efforts. I finally concluded that we have the EXACT situation in our country that both parties want. Each side has had complete control of government and nothing changes. As an independent conservative, I wish a pox on both their parties.

“Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!”

Ho back at ya.

"The Constitutional Rights have been chipped away at by the courts."

Our rights haven't gone anywhere...it's just that we've allowed black robed tyrants to tell us what our rights are. No court can take away what God Himself bestowed upon us. There's a big difference between rights and the law. The law isn't sacred, but our rights are. So we need to stop letting the courts tell us which rights we can and can't "keep".

Thank you for your hard work. You've done about as much as one man, by himself, can do. That's why I say it's time for us to go out and coax, encourage and lead the silent majority out of their meek little hidey-holes, and train them to be fanatics. Imagine if there were tens of thousands more of you, all calling, writing letters, and sending money to Tea Party conservative candidates. How much more effective would that be than just you doing all those things by yourself? It will take coaching, teaching and a lot of encouragement, but if you can turn one meek, wavering conservative into a fanatic, then have them go out and do what you're doing, the compound effect will be amazing.

Rather than trying to fight this battle as a bunch of individuals, we need to become community organizers. That may run counter to our nature, but we just need to get over it. We can accomplish a helluva lot more building a unified team than we can as thousands of individuals.
