THANK YOU. I Have been posting Somalia. Why not??
Who do you think is the most valuable hostage on board? That guy working for Chinese Oil & Gas, residing in Canada?
Or the descendant of Indira?
The only issue with a non-stop flight to Somalia is the distance from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing is 2700 miles. While the distance from Kuala Lumpur to Mogadishu is 3900 miles(add an extra 300+ miles for the first hour of flight North).
From what I understand, while the plane has the actual capability to carry enough fuel to fly 5-6000+ miles. It typically will only carry enough fuel for the scheduled trip(and a little extra for any ‘emergency’).
Maybe someone with definitive knowledge can give a more accurate/detailed response.
So I’m not so sure the airplane would’ve been carrying enough fuel to make it to Somalia(non-stop).
