The fuel transfer probe would be on top behind the cockpit IF is was setup for it. Then there is plumbing to run to the tanks.

I suppose I’d have known that if I had been in the AF....

I always figured that’s where it’d have to be, and at any rate it would not be something easily concealed on the ground. I’m not sure it’s standard equipment for a civilian plane?
