How is it a “fallacy” when the way it is currently being done is that the President says the border is secure when it plainly isn’t?
I take it you didn’t bother to read the amendment he proposed?

One page. Nice and short.
I still like my idea of “one deportation and if we catch you again we turn you into plant fertilizer”...

Congress to vote on every year whether the border is secure as measured by specific criteria, such as:
You don't see the fallacy in the plan right here?
You are giving the party of deceit/lies/marxism the chance to vote on this issue. Do you really think that they will be honest and vote that the border is secure?
They comprise over half of the senate, and coupled with the most blatant Open Border GOP house members, they comprise over 50% of the House.
Do you really believe, if give the opportunity to vote on whether or not the border is secure, even on "triggers", that they will not vote true to form and declare the border secure?
br> This amnesty is central to their plans of defeating the GOP, and particularly, conservatives.
There is no need to normalize, there is not need to give them Amnesty.
Enforce the law and strengthen it where necessary, but DO NOT REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR with Citizenship!
