I noticed that detail in a BBC report. It is very strange - there may be an innocent explanation, but I want to hear it. Who are these 5?
just read a news report saying a relative of one of the missing passengers rang his brother’s cell phone and that the call went through and the phone rang although nobody picked up. A water logged cell phone would not do this…ask me how I know:)

Fox News just reported that the 5 had checked in but did not board. (Previously I thught they had just bought tickets and did not show up — but they were at airport)
