To fix prior post: Freescale manufacturing now is in “China, Malaysia, Taiwan and Korea.” Other key owners are private equity majors Carlyle Group, TPG (Texas Pacific Group) and Euro-based Permira.
Sounds like a company in dire straights. Wonder how it got in so much trouble.
