Some of those comments at that link...WOW!
Poor guy, he defended his life and the liberal ruling elite brand (by NOT telling the truth but telling lies instead) him a murderous villein because his attacker was black.
He doesn’t deserve this at all.
Astonishing. My sister says we can only live as well as others will allow. This guy is being denied a living. He can’t sell his art. He can’t make appearances. This is as bad as anything done by Puritans and shunning. Much worse, really, as you could walk to the next town in 1780 and start all over. Not so, for him.
So a business is denying service to someone because of their convictions?
Sounds familiar ...
George had been out of the news cycle for almost ten whole days. I thought maybe, just maybe, a pale flickering light had begun to glow within his previously bashed-in head, and he was purposely staying out of the news. But noooooooooooooooo. Now George wants to play ‘guest visitor’ to a gun show. I can’t blame this show from not wanting to keep re-opening that same can of rancid stew. The poor guy is cruisin for a bruisin, and will eventually get one unless he snaps out of it. It may feel like the Twilight Zone Zim, but it’s not make believe, this is real life, if you want it. I will say a prayer for him and his family. He needs wisdom, big time, they need protection.
Fixed it.
Close.
A business is denying service to someone because of their convictions about his acquittal...
Not for his convictions - for his acquittals.
Bernard Goetz went thru the samething in New York in 1984.
He fire 5 shots and wounded the 4 muggers. Better shot then most. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernhard_Goetz
Sorry, by “convictions” I meant the business’s “moral convictions.”
I was trying to relate this to the gay wedding cake thing ...
The venue should be sued for racism and bigotry.
Poor guy is Honkyfied to the max...
Central Florida rednecks seem to be very confused..
I think breach of contract is more likely.
Both sides admit the contract was silent about GZ, who was acquitted on all charges. From a legal perspective there is nothing at all wrong with GZ's attendance, even in an advertised special role.
I’ve never heard of anyone espousing “moral convictions” against a person defending himself while being attacked.
Solution: George Zimmerman should start advertising that he is attending EVERY event and concert at the Magestic. Force them to cancel everything.

I go to gun shows all the time and have never heard of this one.
However it is on the edge of the worst area for crime in all of Orlando.
