There were a couple more the other day doing the screeches routine. None of them can explain how anyone got elected before radio though. Few people ever saw or heard their candidates back then...just read their IDEAS. I mean if someone’s voice is the difference between voting for them or not, how shallow can one be?

It’s funny to me in a pathetic way. Trouble is, they do it without repercussion and then people wonder why the general public still thinks Palin is an idiot/whatever. Well perhaps the public can point to their ‘rock ribbed conservative’ neighbor who spreads leftist memes as one explanation for the problem. No they ABSOLUTELY can.

“....how shallow can one be?”

Whether truth or myth, it’s said that first televised presidential debate in 1960 debate between Nixon and Kennedy, was affected by the visual. Those who only listened said Nixon won; those who watched on TV said Kennedy won. JFK was young/youthful looking;Nixon was haggard looking/had a “5 o’clock shadow.” Turned the campaign toward JFK. Voters have been shallow for a long time now.
