Another wave of health-care plan cancellation notices was set to crash on voters this fall. But the Obama administration found a way to shut that whole thing down. According to The Hill:

Prolonging the "keep your plan" fix will avoid another wave of health policy cancellations otherwise expected this fall.
The cancellations would have created a firestorm for Democratic candidates in the last, crucial weeks before Election Day.

Thanks Lucy...
And the GOP will just bend over & take it.
Note to 0bama: We have long memories
No we don’t. Very smart move on the preezy’s part, even if it’s in-your-face political. This will take a lot of pressure off the donks.
It didn’t help those of us in states that only offered the 3 month extension of existing plans. We have already run out of time.
If you are a self insured small business owner in a state that only offered a 3 month extension option, you were just forced to make a life changing decision.
Nothing Obama said made any difference to this as time ran out this week.
So how does this work? Some people get to skate until the end of the year? Some get to skate through part of next year? Some of us were FORCED to change plans now. Some of us were FORCED to change plans back at the beginning of the year.
How is this “tax” being applied fairly to everyone? Something is horribly wrong here. If it’s a tax the whole rule of tax law is falling apart. You have the same people under 3 or 4 different tax situations. That has to be illegal for a hundred different reasons.
