Cruz said he would not endorse anyone in the Senate race. He did endorse Paxton and has said nice things about Stovall.
Stovall is a stable (not nuts like Strawman) conservative with Tea Party backing although not a rich or long time politician candidate.

I understand why an incumbent would not endorse anyone in a primary. You will have to work with whomever does end up getting elected
That is why I was surprised to see someone post that Cruz had endorsed someone.
Too bad Stovall couldn’t get any organization going up here.
Hopefully he will stay in polics though
