I’m up. I had some chest pains during the night again, which woke me up, but then I got a sinus headache and had nothing to take for it. Ungggh!
The new aide will be here today, (sounds like Ground Hog Day) and I just want to go back to bed. I’m very tired this morning.

You can coat it in caramel as well. Combine the two techniques for an interesting candy bar. Best to make the caramel separately and just pour it around the cooked bacon. Might fold rice krispies into the caramel to make the whole thing low calorie.

I’ve been baking and making candy in my dotage. Pretty much mastered bread, bagels & donuts and am working on croissants. It’s a most worthy use of my time.

It probably won’t be there until tomorrow. You’ll have to tell me all about it when it gets there!

Nope. It’s on my bucket list. As is kissing Alyson Hannigan.

Back from shopping with Anoreth. I got a blouse and a pair of shoes.
I helped her pick out clothes for a wedding she’s attending this summer. Dressy, but not overly so, and a summer style, but not tropical. She doesn’t do tropical.

Alyson Hannigan is 40, married, and has children and a restraining order on a stalker who threatened to kill her.

When you make the caramel, do you make candy or a pourable (sp) sauce? Have you ever tried making nougat? See’s used to make a rum-raisin-cherry nougat (I like the milk chocolate covered, but others think the dark is a better backdrop for the nougat.) It’s very humid here, so I’ve been afraid to try to make candy.

Scoutmaster only wants to kiss her. I respect him for being attracted to a woman of mature years.

Haha! You can immediately determine the socially aware individuals as opposed to the “chunky” individual by the preoccupations. SYL

Aide just left. She is quite nice and personable, and seems to be caring. Good. She also said she had had problems with the company as far as notifying the client of a change in aides. Why am I not surprised?
I would love to have bought something in the way of a “new” skirt and blouse, and saw some really cute shoes that would have been perfect for Easter while I was at the thrift store yesterday. It’s so fun to shop there!
It’s time to dig out my summer clothes. The temperature will be 91 today! YAY!!!

To be truthful, I spent significant time deciding between Alyson and Bernadette Peters, a woman of even more mature years.
That, and I have my spousal unit's permission to kiss both Ms. Hannigan and Ms. Peters (and a few others). She has my permission with respect to Tom Selleck and a few others.
