Oscar snubs are part of the annual Academy Awards tradition. Which actor or actress got denied a nomination?
Snubbing an actor who didn't make the Oscar ceremony's "in memoriam" segment is another matter.

The White Zone is for loading and unloading of passengers only.
Fantastic.
did anyone expect otherwise?
I haven’t read that one yet.
Sadly....no.
Ugh. They gave Shirley temple a one movie salute. She could sing, dance ad act. More than any of her co stars Fred Astaire and bing Crosby couldn’t even do all three
And she had no need for tweaking
Decency has no place
Ugh and Harold Ramos had a longer resume than that awful Hoffman. I didnt know who he was because I don’t watch horrible movies with dark unredeemed characters
Awful
Ramis

Me too. I have no idea why there are no plans to bring it to the big screen as written as it can now be fairly done with CGI. Not to mention the new popularity of alternate history movies like Inglorious Bastards.
On those the Oscars missed I get the impression that if an actor/actress had a much bigger TV footprint than in movies, they may feel that it’s the job of the Emmys.
I’m not a big Hollywood fan and I acknowledge that my historical knowledge on this subject is limited, but wasn’t Hoffman an Oscar winner? That would be an appropriate distinction in this instance...

Cory Monteith is known for his television show.
The Oscars are about movies.
I just ordered it on Amazon. With prime, I’ll have it in two days. only $8.
Thanks KC.
Cory starred in several films. If the Oscars are about movies, why did Al Gore win an award?
Judging by Oscar history, no. Don’t forget; Al Gore won an Oscar.
Wow, I never knew my opinions held such weight, thanks Mary!
Final Destination 3 is not noteworthy. Not even Oscar worthy.
Come on. Get real.
I think you have to have made some significant contribution.
I can see why Clancy was excluded too.
Milo O’Shea will forever live on in crossword puzzles.
