They did not follow the constitutional procedure for removing Yanukovich.
His removal was clearly unconstitutional.
The procedure is defined in article 112, and they didn’t follow it at all.
Leaving the country for a week is not a resignation, especially when he explicitly says “I do not resign”.
The constitution is not the final arbiter of what is right and wrong. Jefferson said sometimes revolutions are necessary.
But no way was this a constitutional ouster.
Are you referring to the constitution he wrote for himself, or the previous version?
I’m not close to it but it looks like they needed 338 votes to impeach and they only had 328. Do you happen to know if that’s accurate?
